No Planned Parenthood Locations at This Point

The purpose of these listings is for local activists to help people find alternative places to PP, not just for pregnancy, but for STD testing and treatment and other medical services that PP provides. See our home page.

PP locations – there are none – are current up to September 8, 2026; check PP’s Louisiana page for updates in case of openings in the future. There had been a center in New Orleans and another in Baton Rouge. They both closed permanently on October 1, 2025.

PP announced on June 24, 2026 that they’ll open a new facility in New Orleans this fall, exact date and location yet to be announced.

Community Health Centers (CHCs) were found through web search on the official government website and then verified with their own web sites.

Other possible alternatives are listed when found. Student health centers, though limited in who they serve, are another possibility.

Listings are offered for information; unless otherwise noted, centers haven’t yet been vetted by local activists.

Pregnancy help centers are only included if they offer STD testing or other PP services for non-pregnant people.

Non-profits offering free or low-cost STD testing and treatment are added when found; see our page on STD testing.
