Federal legislators often take an interest in seeing to it that there are Community Health Centers (CHCs) in their districts. See our FAQ page for an explanation of CHCs and other alternatives.

As you can see on the contact pages, they prefer letters through e-mail rather than postal mail, though phone calls can be more timely and informative.
